#thankfulfor: first of 2012
Last spring I started my #thankfulfor series and continued it through the summer. With the arriving of the new year, I thought I’d re-introduce this practice, aligning with my “recognize joy more often” goal for 2012.
Here are a few things I’m thankful for today:
- Useful technology. Check out the app ZocDoc. It helps you find doctors in your area who take your insurance AND book the appointments. Users review the doctor so you get a first hand account before even booking your appointment. I was so pleased with the doctors I selected. More on ZocDoc later, but for now, check it out, you’ll be thankful.
- Health Insurance. I saved $500+ on my prescription today because I have good health insurance. I’m so thankful to be blessed with such provision.
- An invitation to be my best friend’s maid of honor! She sent me a card full of photos of us over the years and asked me to be her maid of honor. I burst into tears I was so excited. I can’t wait to be there for my best friend on her big day!
- Relaxation time with my roommate. Sometimes on nights when the weather is 16 degrees outside, vegging on the couch with your roommate and watching Bravo TV is just what the doctor ordered.
What are you thankful for today?
